Florida High School Basketball - North Port crushes Bayshore

(January 10, 2009: Bradenton, FL 34210) North Port Bobcats (North Port, FL) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Bayshore Bruins (Bradenton, FL), 66-31 in a league bout.

With the victory, North Port upgrades its record to 9-6 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Venice (Venice, FL) to play the Indians in a 5A District 12 bout on Tuesday, January 13. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 12-1. Venice won 57-24 in their recent non-league bout against Booker (Sarasota, FL)

Next up, the Bruins play the Southeast Seminoles (Bradenton, FL) in a 5A District 12 bout, on Thursday, January 15. Bayshore will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record.
