Nevada High School Basketball - Canyon Springs edges Desert Pines
(January 30, 2012: North Las Vegas, NV 89032) The Canyon Springs Pioneers (North Las Vegas, NV) basketball nipped the visiting Desert Pines Jaguars (Las Vegas, NV), 72-70 in Monday's league test.
The Pioneers (13-10) will now prepare for their test against Del Sol (Las Vegas, NV). The Dragons go into the non-league test with a 5-17 record. In their last test, Del Sol was tipped by Foothill (Henderson, NV), 66-54, in a league test.
The Jaguars now own a 12-4 record. They take the field next when they host Valley for a Sunrise - Northeast test on Wednesday, February 1. Desert Pines will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 83-59 league win over Rancho (Las Vegas, NV). The Vikings record now stands at 19-5.
