(September 26, 2008: La Puente, CA 91746) Bishop Amat Lancers (La Puente, CA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Damien Spartans (La Verne, CA), 47-24 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Bishop Amat improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Lancers host Diamond Ranch (Pomona, CA) to play the Panthers in a non-league battle on Friday, October 10. The Panthers enter the battle with a record of 1-3. Diamond Ranch lost 22-21 in their recent non-league battle against Chino Hills (Chino Hills, CA)

Coming up next, the Spartans play the Charter Oak Chargers (Covina, CA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, October 3. Damien will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Chargers enter the battle with a 3-0 record after their 14-14 non-league Rancho Cucamonga (Rancho Cucamonga, CA).
