Nevada High School Basketball - Spring Mountain holds off Mountain View Christian

(December 28, 2011: Las Vegas, NV 89124) Spring Mountain Eagles (Las Vegas, NV) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Mountain View Christian Saints (Las Vegas, NV), 60-55 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Spring Mountain upgrades its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Southeast Career Tech (Las Vegas, NV) to play the Roadrunners in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The Roadrunners come into the bout with a record of 3-9. Southeast Career Tech won 48-44 in their recent non-league bout against Calvary Chapel Christian (Las Vegas, NV)

Next up, the Saints play the Needles Mustangs (Needles, CA) in a Southern 2A bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Mountain View Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Mustangs enter the game with a 9-4 record after their 75-65 non-league loss to Buckley (Sherman Oaks, CA).
