Kentucky High School Basketball - Seabreeze can't hold off Cooper

(December 28, 2010: Burlington, KY 41005) The Cooper basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Seabreeze Sandcrabs to 50 in the non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to DeLand for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 29. Cooper will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 76-61 non-league loss to Perry County Central (Hazard, KY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-2.

The Sandcrabs (10-8) will now prepare for their contest against Mainland (Daytona Beach, FL). The Buccaneers enter the 6A District 2 contest with a 3-10 record. In their last contest, Mainland was nudged by Seminole (Sanford, FL), 54-17, in a non-league contest.
