Washington High School Basketball - West Seattle ripped by Franklin

(January 7, 2012: Seattle, WA 98144) The Franklin Quakers basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting West Seattle Wildcats to 49 in the Quakers league triumph on Saturday.

The Quakers now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chief Sealth for a 3A Metro contest on Tuesday, January 10. Franklin will confront a Seahawks team coming off a 55-39 league win over Bishop Blanchet (Seattle, WA). The Seahawks record now stands at 9-2.

The Wildcats (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Seattle Prep (Seattle, WA). The Panthers enter the 3A Metro contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Seattle Prep trounced Ingraham (Seattle, WA), 67-41, in a league contest.
