With the victory, Southern Lee improves its record to 19-2 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to Overhills (Spring Lake, NC) to battle the Jaguars in a 3A Cape Fear Valley challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 13-6. Overhills won 72-35 in their recent league challenge against Grays Creek (Hope Mills, NC)

Next up, the Eagles battle the Grays Creek Bears (Hope Mills, NC) in a 3A Cape Fear Valley challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Douglas Byrd will attempt to improve on its 6-11 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 2-14 record after their 72-35 league loss to Overhills (Spring Lake, NC).
