Arizona High School Basketball - Mountain View nudges Pusch Ridge Christian Academy
(December 17, 2011: Tucson, AZ 85737) In Saturday's non-league outing, the Mountain View Mountain Lions (Tucson, AZ) basketball squad edged the host Pusch Ridge Christian Academy Lions (Tucson, AZ), by a count of 43-37.
The Mountain Lions (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against Basha (Chandler, AZ). The Bears go into the I Section II outing with a 6-4 record. In their last outing, Basha nipped Chatsworth (Chatsworth, CA), 44-20, in a non-league outing.
The Lions now hold a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Amphitheater for a II Section I match on Tuesday, January 3. Pusch Ridge Christian Academy will face a Panthers team coming off a 52-20 league loss to Flowing Wells (Tucson, AZ). The Panthers record now stands at 6-12.
