(September 14, 2007: Melville, NY 11747) The St. Anthony's Friars (Melville, NY) football overcame the visiting Iona Prep Gaels (New Rochelle, NY), 31-21 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Friars clash with the Mt. St. Michael Academy Mountaineers (Bronx, NY) in a Catholic AAA game, on Saturday, September 22.
