Missouri High School Basketball - Jefferson City falls to Helias

(January 17, 2012: Jefferson City, MO 65101) The Helias Crusaders basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Jefferson City Jays to 52 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Crusaders now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fulton for a non-league contest on Friday, January 20. Helias will confront a Hornets team coming off a 0-0 non-league Osage (Kaiser, MO). The Hornets record now stands at 5-7.

The Jays (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Jackson (Jackson, MO). The Fighting Indians enter the non-league contest with a 11-4 record. In their last contest, Jackson was defeated by Poplar Bluff (Poplar Bluff, MO), 56-52, in a league contest.
