(March 19, 2010: Richmond, VA 23221) The DeMatha Stags ran past the host Benedictine Cadets basketball team by a final score of 66-54 in Friday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Stags face the Gonzaga Eagles (Washington, DC) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 20. DeMatha will attempt to move on its 32-3 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 27-7 record after their 74-67 non-league win over Mount St. Joseph (Baltimore, MD).
With the defeat, Benedictine moves to 26-9 on the year. The Cadets travel to Mount St. Joseph (Baltimore, MD) to clash with the Gaels in a non-league test on Saturday, March 20. The Gaels go into the test with a record of 31-5. Mount St. Joseph lost 74-67 in their recent non-league test against Gonzaga (Washington, DC)
