Florida High School Basketball - Ridgewood trounces Central

(January 11, 2008: Brooksville, FL 34613) The Ridgewood Rams (New Port Richey, FL) basketball crushed the host Central Bears (Brooksville, FL), 84-63 in Friday's league test.

The Rams (14-3) will now prepare for their test against Wesley Chapel (Wesley Chapel, FL). The Wildcats go into the 5A District 7 test with a 15-3 record. In their last test, Wesley Chapel walloped Land O'Lakes (Land O'Lakes, FL), 72-71, in a league test.

The Bears now own a 4-15 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tampa Catholic for a non-league test on Saturday, January 12. Central will clash with a Crusaders squad coming off a 73-39 league win over Lennard (Ruskin, FL). The Crusaders record now stands at 8-7.
