(February 7, 2012: Charlotte, NC 28208) Phillip O. Berry Academy of Technology Cardinal (Charlotte, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Olympic Trojans (Charlotte, NC), 63-29 in a league bout.
With the win, Phillip O. Berry Academy of Technology upgrades its record to 20-2 on the season. The Cardinal travel to Harding University (Charlotte, NC) to play the Rams in a 4A/3A MEGA 7 bout on Friday, February 10. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 17-2. Harding University won 72-26 in their recent league bout against Garinger (Charlotte, NC)
Next up, the Trojans play the Charlotte Catholic Cougars (Charlotte, NC) in a 4A/3A MEGA 7 bout, on Friday, February 10. Olympic will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 12-11 record after their 54-46 league win over East Gaston (Mt. Holly, NC).
