California High School Basketball - Downey topples Los Alamitos

(December 15, 2011: Los Alamitos, CA 90720) In Thursday's non-league outing, the Downey Vikings (Downey, CA) basketball squad beat the host Los Alamitos Griffins (Los Alamitos, CA), by a count of 65-53.

The Vikings (8-1) will now prepare for their outing against Canyon (Anaheim, CA). The Comanches enter the non-league match with a 6-1 record. In their last match, Canyon knocked off Mayfair (Lakewood, CA), 66-59, in a non-league match.
