Nebraska High School Basketball - Hayes Center crushes Wallace

(February 7, 2012: Hayes Center, NE 69032) Hayes Center Cardinals (Hayes Center, NE) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Wallace Wildcats (Wallace, NE), 57-36 in a league bout.

With the victory, Hayes Center upgrades its record to 7-12 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Perkins County (Grant, NE) to play the Plainsmen in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 9. The Plainsmen come into the bout with a record of 13-6. Perkins County won 58-16 in their recent non-league bout against Creek Valley (Chappell, NE)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Stapleton/McPherson County Cyclones (Stapleton, NE) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 9. Wallace will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record. The Cyclones come into the bout with a 5-11 record after their 46-33 non-league win over Arthur County (Arthur, NE).
