(October 31, 2008: Danville, VA 24541) The Henry Patriots football team (Roanoke, VA), was ripped 48-13 in Friday's league challenge with the host Washington Eagles (Danville, VA)

The Eagles (5-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Halifax County (South Boston, VA). The Comets come into the Western Valley AAA challenge with a 3-6 record. In their last challenge, Halifax County was ripped by Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA), 28-17, in a league challenge.

The Patriots now sport a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they host Fleming for a Western Valley AAA challenge on Saturday, November 8. Henry will meet a Colonels team coming off a 10-7 league win over Glass (Lynchburg, VA). The Colonels record now stands at 8-1.
