Maryland High School Football - Boonsboro topples Clear Spring
(September 24, 2011: Boonsboro, MD 21713) The Boonsboro Warriors (Boonsboro, MD) football defeated the visiting Clear Spring Blazers (Clear Spring, MD), 28-7 in Saturday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Warriors face the Williamsport Wildcats (Williamsport, MD) in a Monocacy Valley - Antietam bout, on Friday, September 30. Boonsboro will attempt to advance on its 4-0 season record. The Wildcats enter the bout with a 2-2 record after their 8-0 league loss to Catoctin (Thurmont, MD).
The Blazers (3-1) will now prepare for their bout against Northern (Accident, MD). The Huskies enter the non-league bout with a 1-3 record. In their last bout, Northern defeated Frankfort (Ridgeley, WV), 21-14, in a non-league bout.
