(December 2, 2011: Plano, TX 75093) Plano West Wolves (Plano, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Granbury Pirates (Granbury, TX), 56-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Plano West upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Wolves travel to Estacado (Lubbock, TX) to play the Matadors in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 3. The Matadors go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Estacado won 69-57 in their recent non-league bout against Reagan (San Antonio, TX)

Next up, the Pirates play the Hirschi Huskies (Wichita Falls, TX) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 5. Granbury will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Huskies go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 74-68 non-league win over Northeast (Oklahoma City, OK).
