Texas High School Basketball - Austin overwhelmed by Elkins

Elkins Knights basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the host
Austin Bulldogs to 42 in the Knights league victory on Tuesday.
The Knights now sport a 22-3 record. They play next when they host
Marshall for a
5A Region III District 23 contest on Friday, January 25.
Elkins will meet a Buffalos team coming off a
56-40 league loss to
Bush (Richmond, TX). The Buffalos record now stands at 9-15.
The Bulldogs (9-14) will now prepare for their contest against
Willowridge (Sugar Land, TX). The Eagles come into the
5A Region III District 23 contest with a 9-13 record. In their last contest,
Willowridge was routed by
Kempner (Sugar Land, TX),
36-35, in a league contest.
