California High School Basketball - South thwarts Norwalk

(December 9, 2011: Norwalk, CA 90650) The South Spartans (Torrance, CA) basketball felled the host Norwalk Lancers (Norwalk, CA), 52-38 in Friday's non-league test.

The Spartans (5-3) will now prepare for their test against Whittier (Whittier, CA). The Cardinals go into the non-league test with a 6-0 record. In their last test, Whittier defeated St. Paul (Santa Fe Springs, CA), 36-30, in a non-league test.

The Lancers now own a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host St. Paul for a non-league test on Saturday, December 10. Norwalk will clash with a Swordsmen squad coming off a 36-30 non-league loss to Whittier (Whittier, CA). The Swordsmen record now stands at 6-2.
