(December 28, 2011: Longview, TX 75606) The Longview Lobos basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Henderson Lions to 37 in the Lobos non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Lobos now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lee for a 5A Region II District 11 match on Tuesday, January 3. Longview will confront a Raiders team coming off a 64-55 non-league win over Bishop Gorman (Tyler, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 16-4.

With the defeat, Henderson moves to 5-12 on the year. The Lions travel to Wills Point (Wills Point, TX) to confront the Tigers in a non-league match on Wednesday, December 28. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 0-9. Wills Point lost 58-26 in their recent non-league match against Bishop Gorman (Tyler, TX)
