(January 24, 2012: Phoenix, AZ 85024) Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions (Glendale, AZ) and the host North Canyon Rattlers (Phoenix, AZ), saw Mountain Ridge's basketball squad knock off North Canyon by a score of 54-37.
With the victory, Mountain Ridge improves its record to 8-11 on the campaign. The Mountain Lions travel to Tolleson (Tolleson, AZ) to play the Wolverines in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 26. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a record of 9-8. Tolleson won 55-52 in their recent league challenge against Millennium (Goodyear, AZ)
Next up, the Rattlers play the Centennial Coyotes (Peoria, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 26. North Canyon will attempt to improve on its 1-18 season record. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a 8-10 record after their 53-35 league loss to Ironwood (Glendale, AZ).
