Texas High School Basketball - The Colony overwhelms Red Oak
(November 17, 2011: The Colony, TX 75056) Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the The Colony Cougars (The Colony, TX) and the visiting Red Oak Hawks (Red Oak, TX), witnessed The Colony's basketball squad crush Red Oak by a margin of 58-30.
The Cougars (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Sachse (Sachse, TX). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, Sachse was trounced by Wakeland (Frisco, TX), 40-38, in a non-league test.
The Hawks now own a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ennis for a 4A Region II District 15 test on Tuesday, November 22. Red Oak will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 43-40 non-league loss to Pearce (Richardson, TX). The Lions record now stands at 1-3.
