Virginia High School Football - Battlefield sneaks past Henry
(September 23, 2011: Roanoke, VA 24015) The Battlefield Bobcats football squad scored 19 points and restricted the host Henry Patriots to 17 in the Bobcats non-league victory on Friday.
The Bobcats now possess a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jackson for a AAA Cedar Run battle on Friday, September 30. Battlefield will face a Raiders squad coming off a 20-3 non-league win over Brentsville District (Nokesville, VA). The Raiders record now stands at 4-1.
Coming up next, the Patriots play the George Washington Eagles (Danville, VA) in a AAA Western Valley contest, on Friday, October 7. Henry will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record.
