Washington Eagles (Danville, VA) football team were victorious over the host
Parkland Mustangs (Winston-Salem, NC), by a score of
44-36.
The Eagles (2-2) will now prepare for their game against
Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA). The Eagles come into the non-league game with a 1-3 record. In their last game,
Franklin County was knocked off by
Woodbridge (Woodbridge, VA),
35-8, in a non-league game.
The Mustangs now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host
Reagan for a
Piedmont Triad game on Friday, October 10.
Parkland will meet a Raiders team coming off a
12-0 non-league win over
Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 2-4.
