(January 31, 2012: San Angelo, TX 76901) The Grape Creek Eagles basketball team (San Angelo, TX), was overwhelmed 61-22 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Wall Hawks (Wall, TX)
The Hawks now possess a 21-7 record. They play next when they host Ballinger for a 2A Region I District 7 battle on Friday, February 3. Wall will battle a Bearcats team coming off a 46-44 league win over Sonora (Sonora, TX). The Bearcats record now stands at 5-6.
The Eagles (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against Sonora (Sonora, TX). The Broncos come into the 2A Region I District 7 battle with a 20-9 record. In their last battle, Sonora triumphed over Ozona (Ozona, TX), 56-31, in a league battle.
