Ohio High School Basketball - Western topped by Paint Valley
(January 14, 2012: Latham, OH 45646) The Paint Valley Bearcats basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Western Indians to 42 in the Bearcats non-league triumph on Saturday.
In their next game, the Bearcats confront the Piketon Redstreaks (Piketon, OH) in a Scioto Valley match, on Friday, January 27. Paint Valley will attempt to move on its 3-9 season record.
With the defeat, Western moves to 2-9 on the year. The Indians travel to Eastern (Beaver, OH) to confront the Eagles in a Southern Ohio I match on Tuesday, January 17. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 7-3. Eastern won 59-48 in their recent league match against Green (Franklin Furnace, OH)
