California High School Basketball - Flintridge Prep holds off Rancho Buena Vista

(December 30, 2011: Vista, CA 92081) Flintridge Prep Rebels (La Canada, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the host Rancho Buena Vista Longhorns (Vista, CA), 70-65 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Flintridge Prep upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Rebels travel to La Salle (Pasadena, CA) to play the Lancers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 4. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 8-7. La Salle lost 71-51 in their recent non-league bout against Cantwell-Sacred Heart (Montebello, CA)

Next up, the Longhorns play the Fallbrook Warriors (Fallbrook, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Rancho Buena Vista will attempt to improve on its 7-7 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 63-44 non-league win over San Diego (San Diego, CA).
