California High School Basketball - Upland holds off Glendora
(January 20, 2012: Glendora, CA 91741) Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Upland Highlanders/Scots (Upland, CA) and the host Glendora Tartans (Glendora, CA), saw Upland's basketball squad tip Glendora by a margin of 61-55.
The Highlanders/Scots (13-6) will now prepare for their test against Alta Loma (Alta Loma, CA). The Braves go into the Baseline test with a 9-10 record. In their last test, Alta Loma was tipped by Etiwanda (Etiwanda, CA), 68-29, in a league test.
The Tartans now own a 15-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Los Osos for a Baseline test on Tuesday, January 24. Glendora will clash with a Grizzlies squad coming off a 83-80 league win over Rancho Cucamonga (Rancho Cucamonga, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 8-12.
