In their next game, the Stampede face the Chavez Champions (Laveen, AZ) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, January 24. Fairfax will attempt to move on its 19-3 season record. The Champions enter the game with a 19-3 record after their 66-52 non-league win over Boulder Creek (Anthem, AZ).

With the defeat, South Mountain moves to 14-8 on the year. The Jaguars travel to Shadow Mountain (Phoenix, AZ) to battle the Matadors in a II Section III challenge on Tuesday, January 24.
