Texas High School Basketball - Chavez thwarts Westbury

Chavez Lobos (Houston, TX) basketball felled the visiting
Westbury Rebels (Houston, TX),
64-51 in Friday's league test.
The Lobos (24-5) will now prepare for their test against
Lee (Houston, TX). The Generals go into the
5A Region III District 20 test with a 7-19 record. In their last test,
Lee defeated
Lamar (Houston, TX),
77-71, in a league test.
The Rebels now own a 14-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to
Houston for a non-league test on Wednesday, February 13.
Westbury will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a
80-76 league loss to
Madison (Houston, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 2-19.
