Montana High School Football - Superior beaten by Powell County
(September 23, 2005: Deer Lodge, MT 59722) The Powell County Wardens football team scored 40 points and held the visiting Superior Bobcats to 25 in the Wardens league win on Friday.
The Wardens now own a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Darby for a Western 7B game on Friday, September 30. Powell County will meet a Tigers team coming off a 45-8 league loss to Seeley-Swan (Darby, MT). The Tigers record now stands at 0-4.
The Bobcats (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Loyola-Sacred Heart (Missoula, MT). The Rams enter the Western 7B game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Loyola-Sacred Heart lost by Florence-Carlton (Missoula, MT), 27-21, in a league game.
