Nebraska High School Basketball - Hayes Center crushes Perkins County
(February 9, 2012: Hayes Center, NE 69032) Hayes Center Cardinals (Hayes Center, NE) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Perkins County Plainsmen (Grant, NE), 65-42 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Hayes Center upgrades its record to 13-5 on the season. The Cardinals host Paxton (Paxton, NE) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, February 10. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 17-1. Paxton won 59-29 in their recent league bout against Sutherland (Sutherland, NE)
Next up, the Plainsmen encounter the Cozad Haymakers (Cozad, NE) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 11. Perkins County will attempt to upgrade on its 5-14 season record. The Haymakers go into the bout with a 8-10 record after their 49-29 non-league loss to Broken Bow (Broken Bow, NE).
