New Jersey High School Basketball - Immaculata crushes Hillsborough
(January 24, 2008: Hillsborough, NJ 08844) Immaculata Spartans (Somerville, NJ) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Hillsborough Raiders (Hillsborough, NJ), 57-34 in a league bout.
With the victory, Immaculata upgrades its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Elizabeth (Elizabeth, NJ) to play the Minutemen in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 26. The Minutemen come into the bout with a record of 9-5. Elizabeth won 69-66 in their recent non-league bout against Shabazz (Newark, NJ)
Next up, the Raiders play the Notre Dame Fighting Irish (Lawrenceville, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 26. Hillsborough will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The Fighting Irish come into the bout with a 12-3 record after their 51-34 league loss to West Windsor-Plainsboro South (Princeton Junction, NJ).
