Kentucky High School Football - Western Hills routed by Lafayette

(October 26, 2007: Lexington, KY 40503) The Western Hills Wolverines football team (Frankfort, KY), was ripped 52-13 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Lafayette Generals (Lexington, KY)

The Generals (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Trinity (Louisville, KY). The Shamrocks come into the non-league challenge with a 7-2 record. In their last challenge, Trinity trounced Dunbar (Lexington, KY), 41-7, in a non-league challenge.

The Wolverines now sport a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they host Anderson County for a non-league challenge on Friday, November 2. Western Hills will meet a Bearcats team coming off a 21-19 non-league win over Marion County (Lebanon, KY). The Bearcats record now stands at 9-0.
