(December 30, 2011: Tuscola, TX 79562) The Neches Tigers ran past the host Jim Ned Indians basketball team by a final score of 64-52 in Friday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Tigers face the Martins Mill Mustangs (Ben Wheeler, TX) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, January 3. Neches will attempt to advance on its 18-3 season record. The Mustangs go into the test with a 17-2 record after their 55-34 non-league win over Royse City (Royse City, TX).
The Indians now own a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host Anson for a 2A Region I District 5 test on Tuesday, January 3.
