Florida High School Volleyball - Spoto crushed by Newsome
(October 22, 2009: Riverview, FL 33569) The Newsome Wolves topped the host Spoto Spartans volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Wolves now have a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tampa Bay Tech for a non-league test on Monday, October 26. Newsome will confront a Titans team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Blake (Tampa, FL). The Titans record now stands at 3-10.
The Spartans (1-11) will now prepare for their test against Strawberry Crest (Dover, FL). The Chargers enter the non-league test with a 5-8 record. In their last test, Strawberry Crest was knocked off by Armwood (Seffner, FL), 3-0, in a non-league test.
