Connecticut High School Ice Hockey - Greenwich defeated by Simsbury
(February 10, 2012: Simsbury, CT 06070) Simsbury Trojans (Simsbury, CT) followers left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their ice hockey team achieve victory over the visiting Greenwich Cardinals (Greenwich, CT), 7-2 in a non-league match.
The Trojans (17-3) will now prepare for their match against Conard (West Hartford, CT). The Chieftains enter the SCC match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Conard was trounced by Simsbury (Simsbury, CT), 3-1, in a league match.
Next up, the Cardinals clash with the Darien Blue Wave (Darien, CT) in a FCIAC match, on Saturday, February 11. Greenwich will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record.
