Arizona High School Basketball - Sabino tipped by Palo Verde
(December 6, 2011: Tucson, AZ 85749) The Palo Verde Titans basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Sabino Sabercats to 53 in the Titans league triumph on Tuesday.
The Titans now sport a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sahuaro for a II Section I contest on Thursday, December 8. Palo Verde will confront a Cougars team coming off a 50-45 non-league win over Rincon (Tucson, AZ). The Cougars record now stands at 3-4.
The Sabercats (0-9) will now prepare for their contest against Buena (Sierra Vista, AZ). The Colts enter the non-league contest with a 8-0 record. In their last contest, Buena nudged Sunnyside (Tucson, AZ), 98-62, in a league contest.
