Texas High School Basketball - Lancaster overwhelmed by MacArthur
(November 8, 2011: Irving, TX 75062) The MacArthur Cardinals basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the visiting Lancaster Tigers to 37 in the Cardinals non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Cardinals now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to McKinney North for a non-league bout on Friday, November 11. MacArthur will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 60-15 non-league win over Frisco (Frisco, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-0.
Next up, the Tigers encounter the Carter Cowboys (Dallas, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 10. Lancaster will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Cowboys go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 58-34 non-league loss to Wylie (Wylie, TX).
