California High School Basketball - Indio ripped by Palm Desert
(January 3, 2012: Palm Desert, CA 92260) The Palm Desert Aztecs basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Indio Rajahs to 39 in the Aztecs league triumph on Tuesday.
The Aztecs now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Coachella Valley for a Desert Valley contest on Friday, January 6. Palm Desert will confront a Arabs team coming off a 68-58 non-league loss to Imperial (Imperial, CA). The Arabs record now stands at 4-6.
The Rajahs (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Palm Springs (Palm Springs, CA). The Indians enter the Desert Valley contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Palm Springs trounced La Quinta (La Quinta, CA), 87-41, in a league contest.
