(September 16, 2011: Mifflintown, PA 17059) In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers football squad scored a close 35-34 victory over the Juniata Indians.

In their next game, the Mountaineers clash with the Bald Eagle Area Bald Eagles (Wingate, PA) in a Mountain - Nittany match, on Friday, September 23. Philipsburg-Osceola will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Bald Eagles enter the match with a 1-2 record after their 21-0 non-league win over Halifax (Halifax, PA).
