California High School Football - Los Alamitos held off by Fountain Valley

(October 31, 2008: Fountain Valley, CA 92708) Fountain Valley Barons (Fountain Valley, CA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Los Alamitos Griffins (Los Alamitos, CA), 21-14 in a league test.

With the triumph, Fountain Valley improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Barons travel to Edison (Huntington Beach, CA) to battle the Chargers in a Sunset test on Friday, November 7. The Chargers come into the test with a record of 6-2. Edison won 55-14 in their recent league test against Marina (Huntington Beach, CA)

With the loss, Los Alamitos drops to 7-1 on the campaign. The Griffins travel to Esperanza (Anaheim, CA) to battle the Aztecs in a Sunset test on Friday, November 7. The Aztecs come into the test with a record of 6-2. Esperanza lost 35-6 in their recent league test against Newport Harbor (Newport Beach, CA)
