Texas High School Basketball - Katy ripped by Strake Jesuit

(December 12, 2008: Katy, TX 77494) The Strake Jesuit Crusaders basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Katy Tigers to 32 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Friday.

The Crusaders now sport a 13-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Worthing for a non-league contest on Friday, December 19. Strake Jesuit will meet a Colts team coming off a 68-44 non-league loss to Marshall (Missouri City, TX). The Colts record now stands at 1-6.

The Tigers (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Spring Woods (Houston, TX). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 2-8 record. In their last contest, Spring Woods was routed by Bowie (Arlington, TX), 65-25, in a non-league contest.
