(January 14, 2012: Cambridge, NE 69022) The Hayes Center Cardinals (Hayes Center, NE) basketball knocked off the host Cambridge Trojans (Cambridge, NE), 52-40 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Cardinals (4-9) will now prepare for their test against Southwest (Indianola, NE). The Roughriders go into the non-league test with a 9-4 record. In their last test, Southwest was beaten by St. Patrick's (North Platte, NE), 60-35, in a league test.

The Trojans now own a 4-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dundy County for a non-league test on Thursday, January 19.
