(November 14, 2008: Longview, TX 75606) Longview Lobos (Longview, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Stafford Spartans (Stafford, TX), 52-32 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Longview upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Lobos host Foster (Richmond, TX) to play the Falcon in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 15. The Falcon go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Foster lost 50-45 in their recent non-league bout against Waller (Waller, TX)

Next up, the Spartans play the Bay City Black Cats (Bay City, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 14. Stafford will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Black Cats go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 56-28 non-league loss to Longview (Longview, TX).
