California High School Football - St. Francis sneaks past Loyola

(October 23, 2009: La Canada, CA 91011) The St. Francis Golden Knights (La Canada, CA) football edged the visiting Loyola Cubs (Los Angeles, CA), 27-23 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Golden Knights face the St. Paul Swordsmen (Santa Fe Springs, CA) in a Mission bout, on Friday, October 30. St. Francis will attempt to advance on its 6-1 season record. The Swordsmen enter the bout with a 3-4 record after their 63-14 non-league loss to Crespi (Encino, CA).
