Texas High School Basketball - McKinney trounces Lake Highlands

(December 1, 2011: McKinney, TX 75069) The McKinney Lions (McKinney, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Lake Highlands Wildcats (Dallas, TX), 58-32 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Lions (8-5) will now prepare for their test against McKinney North (McKinney, TX). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 6-5 record. In their last test, McKinney North was crushed by Plano West (Plano, TX), 67-47, in a non-league outing.

The Wildcats now hold a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Richardson for a 5A Region II District 9 outing on Tuesday, December 6. Lake Highlands will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 51-42 non-league win over Boyd (McKinney, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 9-5.
