First Quarter Summary:
The Hurricanes used precise passing and solid midfield play to control the possession of the ball and the tempo of the game. The Defense was solid shutting down the few forays that Northside was able to make into the Hurricane defensive third. Corrie Bexley began the first half scoring when Valdispino switched the field with a long pass that Bexley touched twice and then drilled into the farside of the net. Stopper Emily Addessi spotted Taylor Maramara open off the left side of the net and fed her a nice diagonal pass which Maramara netted for the second Hurricane score. Spencer Valdispino finished the first half scoring by sending a direct free kick, just outside the eighteen yard mark, high into the far upper corner.

Second Quarter Summary:
THe Hurricane defense continued to stymie the Northside offense reguiring Hurricane Keeper Molli Gard to make only one save. Maramara got free from traffic to the right of the Northside Keeper Germain and scored her second goal off a feed from Corrie Bexley, The Hurricanes shifted personnel to positions other than what they customarily played during both halves. Consequently the Hurricane Keeper Molli Gard capitalized on an opportunity to play forward in the 74th miniute of play and scored the Hurricanes final goal with less than 3 minutes left to play.
