(December 29, 2008: San Lorenzo, CA 94580) Piedmont Hills Pirates (San Jose, CA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host San Lorenzo Rebels (San Lorenzo, CA), 52-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Piedmont Hills upgrades its record to 11-0 on the season. The Pirates travel to Las Lomas (Walnut Creek, CA) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 30. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 9-3. Las Lomas won 1-0 in their recent non-league bout against American (Fremont, CA)

Next up, the Rebels play the American Eagles (Fremont, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 30. San Lorenzo will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Las Lomas (Walnut Creek, CA).
